Oak Creek Mission Ministries에 대해서 알려드립니다.

Hello!

Hanmaum Church has rented out a living space at Oak Creek Village Apartments (4230 Garrett Road Durham, NC 27707) as a place for outreach opportunities.

Oak Creek Apartments is a vulnerable community filled with residents whose first language is not English, immigrants, refugees, and low-income families.

We wanted to launch a tutoring program in hopes of building relationships with the students there, sharing the gospel, and introducing them to churches in the area.

At this time, our goal is to reach out to 23 families.

While we have already contacted EM and youth staff about this outreach opportunity, but we wanted to engage KM 1 & 2 as well!

Attached are two documents.
The first document is a rough plan of the tutoring ministry set up and the second document is an interest survey to distribute to anyone who might be interested in getting involved as well. This is only a one-month commitment, after the month, we will evaluate the tutoring program.

The survey is also available online as a google form.

Just in case the link is also available here:

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I would be happy to meet and discuss if necessary. Oh, and more importantly, please let us know what you think! Thank you so much!

Best,

Joyce Cho
