Sermon Title: Jesus Our Hope of Rest

Passage: Hebrews 3:12-15, 4:1-2, 9-13

1. Sin _hardens_ the _heart_(3:12-13)

2. Sin trains us to _doubt_ God’s _goodness_ (3:14-15)

3. Sin forces us to _settle_ for _less  than what God wants to give (4:1-2)

4. We find relief from Sin by __Mutual__  _Encouragement_(3:13, 4:9-13)

5. We find relief from Sin by relying on Jesus’ _Righteousness_ (4:9-11)

6. We find relief from Sin by _Operating_ on ourselves with God’s __Word_(4:12-13)

Psalms 119:105-106 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. 106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.
