Sermon Title: “The Mess of a Broken Family”
Hosea 1, 2, 3
Main Point of the Message: Sin is adultery against God and it requires reconciliation.
-
Unfaithfulness in marriage causes _brokeness_ in the family. 1:2-9
-
God _reconciles_ the broken family to himself. 1:10-2:1
-
People reconciled to God are called to be _faithful_ while we wait. 3:1-5
Memory Verse
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2
