Sermon: 2Thessalonians 1:1-12

Discussion Questions:

1. What are some ways that you try to assert control over God's agenda?

2. Peersecution looks different now in modern western societies, but it still occurs. What does persecution look like in our lives today?

3. When is the last time that you tried to share the gospel with one of your friends who do not believe? How did it go?

Memory Verse:

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” --which is the first commandment with a promise-- “that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

-Ephesians 6:1-3 [NIV]
